The VP Financial Solutions is responsible for the assessment and development of Marketplace and Warehouse Lending opportunities, which shall include the strategy for managing growth impacts against balance sheet objectives for the Consumer Lending Division. This role will assist the SVP in the development of term sheets, contract negotiating, and provide support for onboarding or implementation of programs as necessary. The VP provides leadership guidance and support to the Indirect Lending team, resources within Enterprise Shared Services, and with partners. Monitoring partner and program obligations against actual performance as well as defining and monitoring performance covenants or triggers. Works closely with the SVP to address trending concerns.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to identify and evaluate consumer lending opportunities for indirect loan originations, collateralized loan structures, and syndicated loan opportunities that impact the bank’s balance sheet.

Lead the assessment regarding consumer loan originations, structuring and deal execution. Work on a broad scope of assignments within Indirect Consumer Lending including warehouse and indirect loan financing, loan covenant and various credit protections, asset pool quality assessment, and initiatives to achieve division defined strategic objectives.

Lead the credit approval process, including due diligence, credit analysis and communication with the Credit Risk team.

Assist in negotiations with debt buyers and function as the key point of contact for communicating with internal team members, partners, management, treasury, finance, compliance, audit and legal.

Work with legal counsel regarding the preparation of documentation for syndicated loans and program agreements.

Monitor Indirect Lending programs against contractual obligations and financial covenants. Establish and evolve management reporting for tracking program performance against stated objectives.

Provides leadership to assigned team members through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts staff meetings as required. Assigns, directs, and coordinates work.

Ensures that team members are well trained, effective, and optimally used. Instructs personnel regarding policy, procedure, and program changes and ensures that they are well informed regarding related legal and regulatory developments.

Required Qualifications:

Education – Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field of study

Experience: 8+ years of experience in consumer lending, marketplace, warehouse, or ABS lending

Job Expectations:

Travel percentage: Will be required to travel 25%.
