This position is responsible for sourcing deposit opportunities primarily within the property management industry and negotiating and issuing deposit proposals to prospective customers. This person will develop and maintain an active prospect list and gather the appropriate information in order to prepare a meaningful proposal.Regular participation within the industry trade functions and groups such as CAI will be required.Develop relationships with other vendors for referral purposes.Continue to manage deposit relations once they are banking with PWB and provide excellent customer service.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishing new relationships with property management companies

Manage new and existing property management company relationships

Develop new HOA loan opportunities within bank guidelines

Develop an understanding of bank products and services that meet the needs of the property management industry

Be actively involved in HOA industry and attend CAI functions

Interface with prospects, customers and PWB staff in a professional manner

Understand PWB’s analysis system and process third party vendor payments as needed for management company customers

Help manage new account ticklers

Work closely with local PWB staff and with the HOA support team in Newport Beach

Stay abreast of market trends and develop/maintain a network of referral sources

Perform other duties as assigned 

Position Requirements

B.A. Degree in finance or related field and/or related work experience

Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in commercial lending with a background in bank operations

Experience working in the residential property management industry

P.C. proficient with emphasis on spreadsheets (Word, Excel, Argus)

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently

Excellent composing and writing skills

Above-average interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally with a wide range of people

Positive attitude and willingness to work

Responsiveness, judgment, maturity, integrity, and time management skills are required
