Lead overall portfolio strategy for all Sapphire products to include deep understanding of the Sapphire P&L drivers, analytics, customer insights and brand.
Communicate the “portfolio story” consistently and effectively to stakeholders and leadership: articulate the strategic vision, learning agenda, and learnings; and link those to results and recommended tactics for the future.
Partner with Analytics and Finance teams to inform Lending, Ultimate Rewards, Customer Management (CMG) and Pricing COE’s to execute engagement campaigns across channels including Digital, Retail and External Partners.
Create holistic learning agenda with Analytics, Finance and COE teams, structure tests and analyze results to maximize learnings and inform strategies.
Lead customer experience and capabilities agenda for Sapphire with Customer Experience COE, to achieve NPS and JP Power targets and act as key partner on priority initiatives.
Lead Sapphire’s engagement in budgeting, forecasting, and investment processes with CMG, UR, Customer Experience (including Retention) and Lending COEs, and Analytics to ensure strategic alignment.
Partner with Finance and Analytics on reporting and analysis: product segment profiles, sales and rewards dynamics, results v budget to understand key drivers and opportunities to pivot strategic initiatives and roadmap.
Proactively engage all cross-functional stakeholders, identify potential impacts, obtain feedback and secure buy-in to support Sapphire strategies
Lead and run monthly GM Portfolio Review meetings: manage agenda, coordinate with UR, CMG and Lending COEs, Finance, Analytics on materials, host meetings and capture follow ups.
Manage the portfolio budget with focus on expense optimization and identification of operational efficiencies
10+ years analytic or finance experience, credit card portfolio marketing experience highly desired
Solid understanding of credit card P&L drivers
Highly analytical thinker and problem solver
Excellent communication skills: can articulate clearly the “so what” from data and make recommendations
Outstanding relationship management and ability to work within a highly matrixed structure
Proactive, action-oriented and results-driven; can prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives at the same time
Effective in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degree required
