The VP, Marketing is responsible for driving Company’s marketing activities for Company North America, inclusive of the US and Canada. They act as a key connection point between product marketing, business development and our client facing teams. The core audience for our marketing is our client facing teams, agency partners, end clients, and our industry. We deploy multi-media solutions to market Company, including but not limited to events, speaking engagements, social media, interviews, and thought leadership. This role will report to the Company’s North American President, with additional reporting line into Kinesso’s marketing organization (Company is a Kinesso Company within Company).
What you’ll do
Oversee all Marketing activities for Company North America, in partnership with Kinesso and MB marketing and communications teams
Collaborate with product marketing, business practices, business development teams on packaging of products and capabilities
Manage marketing engagements in support of developing our partnerships across Company Agencies (events, marketing materials, etc.)
Develop a team based on requirements and access to shared resources
Ensure that all marketing adheres to our brand guidelines and standards
Develop media relationships on behalf of Company and represent at select industry events
Participating member of Company’s Noth Amercian Leadership Team
Work closely with global leadership to share and collaborate with other regions to drive consistency in marketing activity globally
BA or BS degree in business, communications, marketing, or computer sciences.
10+ years’ experience in digital marketing, strategy and communications at an agency, publisher, or ad/mar tech firm
Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences.
Excellent understanding of project management principles
Proven experience in planning, organization, and development
Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong analytical skills evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats.
Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and quantify market opportunities - then driving them to realization.
Experience and/or strong desire to work in a high pressure, high demand entrepreneurial environment.
Existing relationships with US media community and platform marketing teams
Experience developing research and thought leadership
Experience working in the online advertising industry and AdTech industry preferred
Experience with an online ad network, SEM vendor, data provider, 3rd party ad serving, rich media, or analytics technology helpful
Prior experience working with ad agency media planners and buyers helpful
