The Role 

The VP of Design & Innovation leads the global team to deliver world-class Product Design for Digital Transformation and Product Engineering. The Design and Innovation service team is the global creative hub of InfoBeans. This team drives early-stage discovery and design to build meaningful and sustainable products and services. 

This role will build strong design, product, and engineering teams, nurture a creative and diverse culture, cultivate an agile process to build cutting-edge software development that brings meaning and purpose to people’s lives, guide the strategy for a seamless, sustainable and scalable integration model with a distributed workforce, expand and extend sales with existing clients, and build lasting relationships with the #sameteam (team and clients) and deliver exceptional customer service. 

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the operational health and efficiency of Design & Innovation Services

  • Oversee Craft - Engineering, Design, Product Strategy & Delivery

  • Drive hiring top talent on-time, develop team members, onboard efficiently and team with co-shore teams to share best practices.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations (how we build software, how we hire, manage and develop teams, and the process for how we deliver continuous value to clients)

  • Cultivate agile to deliver quality & speed. Validate product design to mitigate risk, deliver continuous value and build software in record time.

  • Implement global metrics to drive performance

  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and scaling the business within our process, systems and strategy

  • Lead Delivery to drive increased sales by delivering value by expanding and extending sales with existing clients and partnering with Client Success 

  • Build relationships and build trust. Build long-term, trusting relationships with clients, team members and partners and identify and resolve issues early.

  • Expand and extend sales with existing clients and identifying additional potential product offerings in partnership with Client Success

  • Define strategies for teams to continually identify valuable feature and functionality recommendations to clients (i.e. Opportunity Backlogs, Product Roadmaps)

  • Ensure clear alignment between Client Success and Delivery

  • Represent the company at external and internal events

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and attend industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead

  • Guide a seamless integration strategy

  • Grow, scale, and navigate a distributed workforce while setting up teams for success by defining clear expectations

  • Understand process and/or performance gaps and work with leadership teams to identify experiments to develop craft team’s skill sets.

  • Create international delivery teams as needed to provide consistent service levels globally

  • Collaboration sessions with global leadership to improve alignment

  • Partner with People Team to nurture culture as a differentiator

  • People recognize our culture as a unique differentiator (how we work together, how we care about each other and making software that we are proud of), create an inclusive environment, and manage net utilization for optimal billability

  • Build and grow a qualified and experienced leadership team ensuring alignment with our strategic plans. 

  • Actively scale teams by hiring qualified candidates so that every project starts on time with a full team (balance beach and start times)

  • Oversee Craft leads to ensure career growth paths are aligned with InfoBean’s growth strategy

  • Deliver exceptional customer service - WOW!

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by developing long-term relationships and delivering value to drive repeat business and referrals; scale team by adding to best practices across crafts

  • Ensure consistent client key touchpoints are met  

  • Verify Delivery consistently meets with the highest level stakeholder, sales and client success team to solve issues before they happen for every project

  • Oversee gathering client feedback for every engagement quarterly or at project end and leverage the feedback loop for areas of improvement 

  • Experiment with global WOW (NPS) index and expand to more clients

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor or Master Degree

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Strategy, Digital User Experience and Design

  • 10+ years of experience working collaboratively with global product, engineering, design, user research, and people teams

  • 5+ years of global leadership experience managing a strategic design and innovation team including hiring and developing senior managers and individual contributors

  • Ability to define and clearly articulate vision and strategy to all levels of an organization

  • Ability to foster a culture that supports and encourages diversity and inclusion

  • Passion and vision for design innovation that is grounded in strategic research and agile development

  • Ability to speak to technical constraints, data science, experimentation, product, brand, business, and strategy

  • Inspirational and masterful storytelling and communication skills

  • Passion for removing friction and bottlenecks through digital transformation

  • Comfort in a fast-paced and experimental environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

  • Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience

  • Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring and meeting quarterly and annual goals

  • Experience building and scaling teams and systems

  • A sense of humor; because, in the end, working here is fun!
