We are looking for a business development executive to refine and lead the execution of our business growth strategies, focused on growing our business in healthcare. The role involves strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute, working closely with our cross-functional leaders at Headspace.

Location This role is open to remote employees in select US states California, New York, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maryland + Washington DC, North Carolina and Washington.

Lead market access for the Healthcare industry ecosystem. Develop go-to-market roadmaps and strategic partnership plans with clear milestones.

Develop and maintain strong, enduring relationships with senior executives across the healthcare ecosystem, identifying and communicating clear value co-creation opportunities across the partner network to grow Headspace’s healthcare business.

Collaborate across Headspace functional teams to create comprehensive business cases and solution delivery strategies for executive endorsement. Align key stakeholders required to design, support, staff, and achieve the execution of these plans. 

Work closely with the rest of the Headspace leadership team throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure solutions and generated evidence meet requirements of stakeholders, including employees, patients, healthcare providers, payers, and related partners. 

Package offerings for the most successful adoption & monetization in-market. Collaborate with partner success leadership to define and deliver successful activation, enrollment, engagement and partner consultation strategies.

Have an understanding of the healthcare reimbursement environment including coverage, coding, and payment, as well as how to implement and manage reimbursement programs and integrate claims analytics into our products.

Keep abreast of trends in market access and reimbursement policies that impact the Headspace solutions; influence strategic oCompanyomes.

Represent Headspace in external events and meetings, including payer and provider organizations and public policy forums.

Represent Headspace as an industry thought leader during strategic sales, renewal and expansion processes.

What you’ve accomplished

Minimum 10 years of commercial experience with a successful track record in launching and selling disruptive and innovative technologies and programs across the health care ecosystem.

Strong, proven relationships with executives across the healthcare industry value chain and deep understanding of the nuances of selling disruptive services and technology to this market.

Strong influencing skills and the ability to work at the senior-most levels with industry executives (especially payers) and experienced clinical, technical and commercial experts in other functions.

Strategic thinking and ability to build operational excellence in the face of challenging goals and limited resources.

Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment where you can make a clear impact.

Outstanding track record of driving team revenue and business growth, leading more junior personnel; proficient and high-achieving in all aspects of solution commercialization & business development leadership.

Strong understanding of innovative pricing Organizationels, such as value-based Organizationels of care delivery.

Proven understanding of the commercial and government payer landscape, including reimbursement methodologies and pricing/reimbursement authorities’ decision-making process.

Experience positioning clinical studies in support of economic value propositions to commercial payers.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
