The VP, People & Culture serves as the human resource executive for the organization, providing strategic leadership and oversight.This position reports to the VP, Strategy and Mission Integration and serves as a member of our WesleyLife Executive Circle. 

In this role, you will be accountable for achieving our people and culture related goals and provide direction over talent acquisition, employee relations, HR compliance, culture building, learning/development and total rewards practices.You will also play a key role in the advancement of our health and well-being strategies for our team members.You will have the opportunity to “zoom in” and be hands-on with our people practices, while also being expected to “zoom out” and deliver at the strategic level to create exceptional experiences.

Job Requirements

A Master’s-level prepared individual is highly preferred, but Bachelor’s Degree is required.  

HR Certification is expected.  

Candidates will need to have at least five years of senior-leadership level experience, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality organizations.  

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and well-regarded HR senior leader with a strong history of driving business outcomes through people decisions.Experience in most or all HR competency areas is required. 

This leadership role will require a mission-focused and values-based leader who also demonstrates an outcomes-based focus to drive toward results.The ability to inspire and support the team around a shared set of expectations as well as excellent communication and people skills are important.Compensation for this position is strong, including relocation assistance.
