The VP of Technology Transformation will be instrumental in driving change and implementing Fleetcor’s technology and architecture strategy in the focus areas of innovation, process automation, SAAS and Data Platforms. In partnership with the Product, Architecture, Engineering, Technical Operations, and Business Functional areas, the VP of Technology Transformation will build and help deliver on the enterprise's technology transformation agenda. Key objectives for the role include transformation thought leadership, cross-functional program management, and the development and execution of major components of the technology strategy.
Lead execution of the Transformation Fleetcor’s software and data platform portfolio to achieve scope, schedule, financial and quality commitments through operating a metrics-based management system
Drive strategic initiatives to ensure project execution across the enterprise
Synthesize technology needs across all business to define a holistic roadmap for the enterprise
Lead the creation and continuous improvement of the technology's team's annual delivery calendar and roadmap; revise roadmap (3-5 year horizon) on at least an annual basis and support with capital requirement estimates and business cases
Work with product, architecture, the heads of business unit and business stakeholders to develop a long-term strategy, ensuring that their ambition is aligned to Fleetcor’s strategic goals
Recommend, develop and implement technology/digital strategies to ensure that technology/digital efforts are integrated seamlessly into business plans
Ensure that corporate strategies are translated and delivered effectively into redesigned business process and technical solutions
Align, track and ensure proper execution of applications, business process changes, operational readiness in alignment with technology/digital transformation initiatives
Capture, aggregate, and prioritize a portfolio of IT investments to enable the technology/digital capabilities roadmap
Champion technology/digital operation's priorities through IT investment portfolio governance process to ensure alignment of projects with business objectives
Key advisor to the SVP of Architecture and other technology leaders
Lead and work in cross-functional teams to evaluate, provide insight and drive strategic outcomes that have the greatest impact on the company; enable the transfer of strategic ideas into operational decisions
Responsible for related budget that would include both the strategic and operational spend
Infuse forward thinking, new technology and enhancements with an eye to ROI
Partner with the Fleetcor’s leadership team in enabling overall IT initiatives
Champion and communicate Fleetcor’s technology/digital strategy to internal and external audiences.
Formulates and drives the operational agenda, culture, and development of their organization
Lead and be accountable for delivering business outcomes committed to and through investment planning and production management
Demonstrate ability to influence and motivate large, diverse audiences and foster an inclusive environment
Develop mentoring and coaching skills in others aligned to long-term workforce strategies
Define and sustain an environment in which personnel can maximize their potential
Build and develop diverse, high performance teams
Responsible for actively helping to shape and manage overall employee engagement, morale and alignment to corporate values
Responsible for the growth and development of each group's team based on the needs of the business, workforce risks, and the established sourcing strategies in order to proactively manage overall capacity and capabilities
Be an integral member of the Technology leadership team
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Minimum of 10 years of IT delivery management and leadership experience required with a minimum of 3-5+ years of leading significant and complex project portfolios of work and multiple IT end to end operational teams
Experience leading technology/business transformation initiatives
Experience building business roadmaps with an emphasis on technology selection and IT implementation/transformation
Experience working in an extremely fast-paced organization while effectively spanning multiple business units
Proven ability to translate broad corporate next generation strategies into clear, specific business deliverables and solutions
Insights into consumer trends and disruptive technology, using data and evidence to define impact on businesses
Demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing teams toward the successful attainment of challenging goals in support of the corporate business strategy with strong results orientation and sense of urgency
Proven ability to attract, develop and retain the best talent
Resilient and innovative leader who is able to work in an entrepreneurial environment

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field; Master's degree preferred
Must be highly driven with a passion for developing teams that deliver and help the organization transform; track record of finding and cultivating outstanding technical talent.
Practitioner-level skills in architecture, software development, software release management, version control, and business continuity capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to gather/synthesize market information and customer research to drive business planning and strategy; highly analytical approach to decision making and prioritization
Capable of meeting established expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results; encourages others to do the same.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to coach others.
Strong collaboration & negotiation skills, showing ability to influence without ownership; strongly held worldview
Proven success in establishing key performance indicators, metrics, and focus to drive software development best practices.
