The VPD will source and manage in-house and freelance creative resources to develop innovative and appealing designs, clear interaction guidelines, and an information architecture structure. The VPD will also be involved in helping to drive, define and conduct user research focused on driving forward our Digital’s vision and goals.
The role will involve significant collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders. The VPD will be expected to advocate for and maintain UX and design standards within our Digital and other parts of the company. The ideal candidate is a strong but malleable leader who can solve problems creatively and effectively, recommend and leverage quantitative and qualitative consumer insight tools, and manage the design process from ideation to competition. This role involves hands on active participation in all facets of the design process. Particularly at first, the role will be focused on execution of design and UX tasks and functions.
