The VP of P&C Business Partners (BPs) leads a global team of nearly 30 to coach our leaders and employees to navigate challenges and perform beyond wildest expectations. Spanning a uniquely wide variety of roles, geographies, and functions (data scientists, warehouse associates, stylists, marketers, customer support agents, and more), this position will let you have impact and innovate in ways you never thought possible in your career. This is an incredible opportunity to drive and innovate the People & Culture function at one of the most exciting consumer retail and technology companies out there. This role will be based in San Francisco at our global HQ and report directly to Leading Technology Company’s Head of People & Culture. 


You will…

Serve as a key member of the P&C Leadership Team, setting and driving the people strategy for Leading Technology Company

Shape an inspirational BP strategy drawing on data including people analytics and employee surveys

Build and coach a high-performing BP team across multiple locations

Deeply understand our long-term business goals, current organizational strengths and challenges, and opportunities for us to close the gaps

Develop strong, trusted partnerships and candid coaching relationships with C-suite leaders, VPs, and Directors across the company

Partner with other P&C leaders to continually improve and innovate our people processes and programs

Be a cultural champion, both as a role model and in leading your team and cross-company initiatives to help us scale and strengthen our culture as we grow

Be the key leader owning high-stakes employee relation issues, partnering with our Legal Team to manage risk and ensure compliance

Help us conceive and execute Diversity & Inclusion initiatives that make Leading Technology Company a better and better place for everybody to work

Able to fly at 30,000 feet in shaping global people strategies toward Leading Technology Company’s multi-year priorities and dive down to ‘sea level’ in coaching your team to execute

You have...

10+ years of global experience driving, building and scaling multi-location (ideally global) teams of HR BPs and HR Generalists for high-performing companies of 1000+

5+ years experience successfully coaching leaders up to the VP or C-suite levels

Experience leading HR for hourly and distributed employee populations (i.e., warehouse/distribution center, customer support, retail, etc.) as well as G&A and technical functions such as engineering and data science

Demonstrated functional competence across areas of HR, including organizational design, talent and performance management, employee relations, change management, and strategic workforce planning

Ideally prior experience with a fast-paced, high-growth technology or consumer company
