The VP of Product Management is responsible for the success and profitability of the products. They will be responsible for ensuring solutions meet customer needs, driving adoption, developing business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.He/she will collaborate with personnel throughout the business including contributors from business development, sales, marketing, legal, finance, project management, development, quality assurance, customer support, strategic partners and customers.Importantly, the VP, Product Management, must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth, change management) and translate to the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems, being a force multiplier and leader of their teams).

Key Responsibilities

Manage the product and services portfolio and pipeline, according to established objectives and accepted operational processes

Maximize market potential through in-depth understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and market requirements

Identify customer and market needs and opportunities, establishing and managing product strategies, prioritizing areas of focus and ensuring successful execution

Establish product strategies and oversee roadmaps that define, develop and commercialize solutions to meet customer needs

Work collaboratively to expand product and services offering that assist our customers better operate their systems

Align solution portfolio to MRxTs and Leading Provider of Health Care Systems and Products growth strategies

Working with cross-functional teams via our software development lifecycle process to oversee the ongoing development, optimization and timely commercialization of our software solutions

Hold vendor partners accountable to solution delivery and improved customer support in partnership with the customer experience teams

Minimum Requirements 

10+ years of product management experience including managerial experience

Critical Experience Requirements

10+ years of product management experience including managerial experience

10+ years of combined experience in pharmacy or healthcare related industry. Retail pharmacy industry experience and knowledge is highly preferred. 

Qualifications and Desired Experience: 

Strong understanding of retail pharmacy industry

Experience working with and indirectly leading cross functional teams 

Experience in an Agile/Scrum in software environments preferred

Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

Excellent presentation creation and delivery skills

The ability to develop rapport and strong credibility with internal and external customers

Experience evaluating industry trends and recommending new business opportunities

Strategic and analytical thinking, strong problem solving skills, sound judgment and a willingness to resolve issues and problems in a timely manner

Experience with team development & process improvement

Familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing

Ability to collaborate across business lines

Education

BA/BS Degree

MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
