The VP of Product Management is responsible for growing the Product Management discipline at IPG Mediabrands. The candidate should have a strong track record of envisioning and bringing data products to market from within either a product-driven technology company or an agency environment. You will be responsible for partnering with business leaders, technology leaders, and other stakeholders to champion the strategy, design, development, launch, and management of products that meet strategic and business objectives.
Oversee the strategy and planning for the entire product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product requirements, determining the product roadmap, and setting strategic priorities.
Drive an operating model that ensures agile product delivery teams have the clarity and support they need to maximize product value and overall return on investment
Leverage in-depth understanding of our product capabilities and product offerings as well as marketplace trends to inform and help guide our overall product strategy in a rapidly changing data landscape
Build and cultivate strong internal relationships to establish engagement models for your team, ensure delivery of quality products in alignment with expectations, and uncover cross product requirements
Partner with executive leadership team to create strategic vision for product portfolio and set immediate and future priorities for engineering
Inspire, motivate, and develop a team of top performing product managers
Have a strong collaborative presence and an ability to drive change in the organizations
Benchmark industry to understand competitive positioning and best practices
10+ years in Product Management leadership
Demonstrable thought leadership building data-driven decision and measurement solutions
Has exceptional analytical problem solving and decision making skills
Knowledge of big data applications/solutions such as Spark, Hive, no-SQL, redshift, etc is a plus.
Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum.
Has extensive experience working with all levels of the organization (executives, creatives, developers, analysts, etc.)
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills; able to manage ambiguity and drive outcomes in complex organizational contexts
