The Vice President, Product Strategy (“the VP”) is responsible for the product lifecycle and strategic decisions for the Enterprise and SMB Workforce Management Portfolio, including product acquisition, product development, and product discontinuation. This is a strategic function with a high level of internal and external visibility that works closely with regional teams, marketing, engineering, external partners and internal sales and services functions.The VP will be responsible for ensuring that we execute strongly on our product plans delivering innovative, market leading solutions.This position can be located remotely in the US.


Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:


Lead the customer-centric , data driven vision, strategy, and execution for WFM. Define the associated product strategy and oversee product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle.


Develop a strong team of product owners and product managers through effective leadership and team development.


Provide a compelling vision for the product that includes how the product should evolve and develop over the course of time.


Ability to work across all levels of the organization, including C-level executives.


Track market trends and competitive offerings, interface with customers and sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.


Develop and effectively communicate product strategy and roadmaps, including gathering and validating product enhancements and innovations.


Support M&A activities including due diligence in order to develop new market opportunities, and support Executive team in decision-making processes.


Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in the specification, planning and delivery of solutions – including product development, strategic operations, and regional sales and services teams.


Manage highly complex and inter-dependent project schedules, striving to deliver solutions on-time, and within scope and budget. Where necessary, support resource allocation decisions across teams, including budget and personnel.


Oversee highly technical product initiatives, demanding strong communication, dependency management, conflict resolution and prioritization skills.


Provide solution domain expertise support to the global business unit and regions.


Provide an escalation path for field related product issues.


Minimum Requirements:


Requires Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Has a minimum of 10 years of management and leadership experience coupled with 15+ years overall experience inlarge, global organization or functional group with consistent growth in leadership

Demonstrated experience leading technical product leaders.


Demonstrated experience developing financial models in support of new product initiatives.


Experience leading delivery of enterprise software solutions and/or SaaS solutions on a global scale.


Expertise in building a data-driven approach and discipline to product strategy, prioritization and development.


Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.


Ability to establish, communicate and manage work objectives for team.


Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations


The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel .

Preferred Requirements:


Experience of Workforce Management or associated products in the enterprise space


Experience with Agile methodology.
