Oversees and participates in the development, integration and coordination of regional networks of care. Participates in business development strategy in building out the networks of care and supports seamless integration of such assets into the region. Facilitates quality improvement initiatives and patient experience initiatives in furtherance of Health System values.

Job Responsibility

  • Participates in the development and coordinates the execution of strategic planning processes to establish regional networks of care.

  • Participates and contributes to the regional business development strategy.

  • Develops fiscal objectives and financial strategies.

  • Evaluates and quantifies the performance and effectiveness of regional networks of care to ensure accomplishment of goals and objectives.

  • Oversees and evaluates operational, personnel and capital budgets.

  • May manage a virtual P&L regarding the “network of care”.

  • Collaborates with leadership the coordination of access to care throughout the region’s large medical practices, joint ventures and hospitals.

  • Coordinates and creates a continuum of care within the region by partnering with leadership teams throughout the region to analyze avenues of care delivery and synergize networks of care. 

  • Primary points of interface include Business Development; Ambulatory Operations, Hospital Operations, Ventures; Service Lines and Shared Services.  

  • Develops and implements plans to support the accomplishment of long range objectives through establishment of performance measures, with emphasis on access.

  • Upholds and communicates the mission, vision and values of the Health System.

  • Oversees compliance with federal, state, and local government agency laws and regulations and compliance to the standards, rules and regulations of various accrediting and approving bodies and Health System’s Corporate Compliance Program.

  • Seeks opportunities to constructively influence regulatory policy and actions, upholding the Health System’s values and integrity.

  • Human Resources Management

  • Influences stakeholders and team members to achievement of shared goals.

  • Collaborates with senior executives in establishing protocols to promote employee engagement, excellence and opportunity.

  • Patient Care Systems

  • Advances a patient-centered approach to care focusing on quality, access, safety, and excellent service.

  • Quality Management

  • Promotes quality and productivity improvements through involvement in the development of improved procedures, process innovations and changes which support the strategic direction.

  • Communication

  • Fosters a culture of communication across entities within the regional network of care 

  • Keeps executive leadership and stakeholders well informed.

  • Guides leadership teams to shape the Health System’s culture, embrace the need for change and develop the capacity for transformation to meet competitive threats and opportunities.

  • Performs related duties as required.
