The Vice President, Retail Banking and Image Archive Applications Support will own the leadership and management of the Application Support teams responsible for the retail banking front-end systems, image archive and capture systems, lockbox and item processing systems, and Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act systems. This person should be an emotionally intelligent, dynamic leader who can lead and mentor individuals and build strong cohesive teams focused on execution excellence. This person will interface with various business units, vendors and other IT departments to maintain, support and troubleshoot the retail applications and other ancillary systems.
Supervise and direct, utilizing established software development lifecycle methodology, changes to the retail systems at the request of retail management to support new products/offers/branches/workflows.
Manage the application teams in support of the systems under their charge. Troubleshoot system issues and provide leadership to resolve problems as they arise.
Work with Retail Management, Operations and Compliance/Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) to determine business requirements and project prioritization in support of the retail staff and customers.
Act as liaison between internal Wintrust Technology teams, business departmental groups, and vendors for supporting the systems and identifying best in class solutions.
B.S, B.A. in Computer Science or Businesspreferred
5- 7 years overall IT or business experience
Must have experience managing and leading staff in support of complex business systems including tier 2 troubleshooting and support
Understanding of systems and data integration required
Must be a logical analytical thinker with ability to see big picture
Knowledge of the following systems or similar preferred
Fidelity Information Systems (FIS) – IBS Banking Core, storQM, Vision Content, FCM, IBS Deposit Origination and Teller Insight, Digital One
Lockbox and Item Processing
An understanding of Retail/Commercial Banking and Banking Operations is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people
Ability to document procedures for non-technical users to follow
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
