The Vice President Sales, Account Manager will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing new business while simultaneously growing revenue through developing strategic relationships with existing clients across the company's North American service area and portfolio. This position requires an understanding of the changing media landscape and technology trends to create win-win business partnerships with large and small clients. Additionally, the Vice President Sales, Account Manager will be responsible for coordinating efforts with colleagues to present technical solutions through effective presentations, proposals, and discussions.

Roles Responsibilities:

Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and utilizing a network of contacts to presenting, negotiating, and closing new and renewal business, including but not limited to:

Source and prospect new business opportunities and leads

Consulting with businesses to obtain pertinent information about the business itself, potential markets, problems faced in doing business to assess client needs Coordinate the development of a targeted service offering with operational and engineering colleagues

Develop financial models and pricing options that ensure profitable business for clients and Encompass

Communicate a compelling value proposition via professional proposals and/or presentations, written and/or verbally, that excite and motivate prospects and clients to choose Encompass solutions

Maintain laser-like focus on business development and expansion of current client relationships for long­ term, high volume, and profitable contracts for clients and Encompass

Develop outstanding relationships with clients, partners, prospects, and peers to enable collaboration, including maintaining a deep and clear understanding of our customers' business and how and why they use our services

Accurately represent the voice of the customer within the Encompass organization, allowing all areas of the company to better serve them and develop solutions that enable their success

Achieve assigned revenue/profit targets overall and by customer/user

Mentor, supervise and train staff, responsible for administrative portions of direct reports

Strong working relationship with other corporate functions including Finance and Human Resources

Maintain accurate and complete records of sales opportunities in Salesforce.com

Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Self-directed and self-motivated, must have proven track record at achieving sales and revenue/profit targets

Minimum of 10 years of direct business-to-business sales experience in the media industry;

Produce accurate and creative schedules for channels assigned to you

Experience in managing and closing a balanced pipeline of 'rabbits, deer, and elephants'

Exceptional listening skills are a must, as are written and verbal communication skills

Expertise in working within multi-channel environments (direct, channel, strategic partnerships), especially as clients and partners may also be competitors given the situation

Significant experience using CRM tools

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

•Salesforce.com knowledge/experience

•College degree preferred
