Global Transaction Services (GTS) is a product group tasked with the management and sales of Cash Management, Trade Finance, Securities & Fiduciary products and services to our institutional clients. We aspire to be recognized by our clients and competitors as one of the top GTS providers in our key markets in Asia. This can be achieved through an ongoing process of enhancing our product capabilities and rolling them out across the region efficiently.


Leading global banks have realised that transaction services are a significant driver of value for wholesale banking. Transactional banking solutions continue to drive some of the highest levels of client advocacy, ‘stickiness’ and cross-sell opportunities of any wholesale banking solutions.


For the last few years, we in DBS have been competing against the bigger global players across a wide range of products and geographies. We have had incredible wins, pitches and wonderful customer stories to tell. Now however, it’s time for us to out run all our competition across cash, trade, open account range of solutions. It’s time to ask our customers to commit to us as their core bank. It’s time to build trust with them not just across our GTS business but across the whole DBS suite of solutions.


This is a big step for our customers and it’s not a commitment that they will make lightly or easily. We need to influence them at every level. To do this, we need to become a world class sales organisation, with best in breed sales techniques, processes and tools. The GTS Sales Practice Management (SPM) Team was set up for the purpose of creating the Best Sales Team in the World (#BSTIW). This role sits within the Technology & Communications pillar of SPM, ensuring that the GTS sales uses the latest technology at hand and access to communications to ensure maximum sales performance. Focusing on and committing our resources to where DBS GTS have a right to win.


Responsibilities


Work with the GTS Sales EXCO on developing, implementing and driving a technology-first approach to sales enablement tools including Microsoft Office tools etc.


Work with the GTS Sales EXCO on developing and driving the internal communication strategy for GTS Sales.


Ownership of various communication channels such as GTS SalesFORCE Portal, Yammer and Global GTS Sales Townhalls.


Represent GTS Sales on GTS and IBG Internal Marketing initiatives, ensuring GTS Sales is fully represented and informed.


Work with SPM pillar leads by gathering communication and commercialisation requirements and creating a relevant communication strategy.


Work with SPM pillar leads by developing technology led solutions when building sales enablement tools.


Collaborate and engage with GTS and IBG business and product functions to design internal communications and commercialise strategies targeting GTS Sales.


Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Banking


At least 6 to 10 Years of relevant experience in Banking


Transaction Banking, Project Management and/or Communications experience preferred


Proficient in Microsoft Office applications


Ability to work independently and interact with business partners


Ability to influence and impact outcomes


Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills


Strong strategic mindset with proven analytical skills


Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills


Ability to handle multi-tasking environment and meet deadlines


Ability to take initiative, work independently and accomplish a task with little supervision
