The VP Consumer Management – CONSUMER FIBER has end to end responsibility for the consumer Fiber business unit, including revenue, expense, capital, and execution on go to market strategies as well as customer experience.The leader will be responsible for segmenting the market, establishing marketing messaging, and creating a marketing plan that drives awareness, favorability, and conversion.Additionally, the leader is responsible for creating a national fiber capital investment plan, profitable business case inputs, investment execution and investment performance.Additionally, the leader has responsibility for end to end fiber performance in all of CenturyLink’s markets including investment planning, business case inputs, project implementation, pre/post sales, retention/churn, capacity management, held orders, intervals, customer experience, new development strategy,  re-investment strategy and copper to fiber migration execution.Lastly, the leader is responsible for developing micro-targeting plans to drive future revenue and EBITDA growth at a localized level, leveraging data analytics and digital sales and marketing tactics to drive performance and favorable returns on investment.

The Main Responsibilities

The leader is responsible for ~500M in annual revenue and driving sustained 20%+ Y/Y revenue growth.

Total team size of ~ 90 employees, with team size expected to grow as Fiber footprint grows

The leader is responsible for infrastructure planning impacting up to 800,000 households annually and $350M capital

The leader is responsible for driving investment returns and exceeding established business case targets including a 175% sales rate against current sales performance trends

The leader must be a strategic thinker comfortable presenting to internal senior leadership, collaborating with leaders across CenturyLink business units, experienced in presenting to state and civic partners and in front of C level external partners

The leader will develop and implement a Go to Market strategy to meet assigned financial and operational goals

The leader is expected to achieve assigned revenue, sales, CX and investment performance targets

The leader will be responsible for working cross functionally into product, operations, finance, and other sales channels to advocate on behalf of the Fiber organization.

Manage ~30M annual expense budget 

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience, Advanced degree preferred

Ten plus years in a senior leadership role and managing large teams

Five years of investment strategy experience for a large corporation

Five years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry

2 years of public relations and media experience
