The VP, Strategy and Operations – Information Security is responsible for driving the strategy, transformation, and execution for the multi-phase evolution of information security across the enterprise. This role reports directly into the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and will partner across many stakeholders to provide strategic, analytical, and procedural leadership to the information security organization. This role will be a member of the CISO leadership team and will be looked upon to drive the strategic transformation of information security and security culture change throughout the enterprise.


Responsibilities:


Develop and lead the transformation strategy to align security and compliance programs, driving the organization towards a risk-based strategy.

Partner with and build trusting relationships with leadership and key stakeholders across enterprise functions and business units to ensure alignment across transformation initiatives.

Lead a comprehensive communications strategy that drives awareness of security risks and fosters a culture of active risk management

Establish and maintain performance metrics (e.g. KPIs) and scorecards that provide leadership the visibility into the organization’s progress of its goals.

Manages and directs staff and matrixed resources and maximizes outsourced services to accomplish key deliverables.

Compile and analyze data, prepare status reports for various stakeholders, and develop formalized presentations for BoD and executive stakeholder briefings.

Lead a business operations team that drives operational discipline and organizational cadences across ISRM and CISO leadership team.


Education and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in operations, business, IT, information security, or equivalent experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong focus on large-scale program management, transformation, and/or delivery

Prior experience working in a large, geographically dispersed organization

Prior experience working in information technology, with prior experience in cybersecurity a plus

Expertise in MS Office

Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills with an end-user focus

Ability to prioritize, self-initiate, and create momentum, even with partial guidance or information

Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate updates and desired outcomes in a succinct manner
