Generate strategic media initiatives and lead all aspects of media planning for clients or products.
•Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategy to define the future direction ofaccount
•Resource for others in defining high level strategy for subsidiaries/business unit
•Responsible for designing and managing projects and resources for subsidiaries/business unit
•Oversee local media plan development and take strategic lead on plans for specified group/account.
•Team leader for client interaction fostering positive relationships.
•Identifies key target insights based on client brief necessary for formulating communication strategy.
•Evaluates composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience. Effectively communicates and solicits agreement of best opportunities for clients.
•Supervising, training and developing staff (managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy, performance management).
•Providing staffing recommendation and daily supervision to all accounts.
•Directs the long-range planning and development of programs to ensure best use of organizational resources
•Serves as leadership and content development coordinator for all client presentations
•Participates in new business efforts including development of new business opportunities and new business pitches.
•Responsible for long range strategic vision for industry and how it applies to clients’ needs
•Ability to cross sell inter-agency products and services
•Participation in special projects involving cross department team development and leadership
•Work with the Consumer Insights and research teams to identify and deliver key learning opportunities for client
•Serves as key Resource for others in defining high level strategy for subsidiaries/business unit
Number of Direct Reports: up to 10
Number of Indirect Reports:
Internal:Partners with other Strategy members, Strategic Resources, Activation Partners, Finance and Human Resources
External:Significant Client and Vendor interaction and accountability
Responsible for budgeting, controlling costs, planning and scheduling around cost concerns for business unit

•Proven experience and success in presenting plans to client and influencing top level client decisions related to local media strategy and implementation
•Excellent leadership, management and motivational skills
•Excellent organizational, interpersonal and quantitative/analytical skills
•Strong client presentation skills and business writing skills
•Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and client relations
•Detail-oriented and proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
•10+ years media planning experience
•Progressively responsible experience in people management and leadership
•Fluency with Media Tools and solid understanding of Digital Planning tools
•Able to work with internal research team to develop learning plans for client
•Able to develop, implement and execute strategy to define future directionbusiness unit
•Able to guide others in defining high level strategy forbusiness unit
•Able to plan, conduct, assign and meet obligations forbusiness unit
•Able to design and manage projects, resources, stakeholders, participants and deadlines forbusiness unit
