As Product Lead, you manage and lead a very ambitious team of product managers. Your main responsibilities are

Continuously help the product managers develop their skills so they become T-shaped people with a deep expertise in product value delivery combined with broad, hands-on skills in user-centred thinking, agility, Search Engine Optimization and big data analytics. Set clear career goals for everyone and support them through coaching and mentoring to get there.

Be a role Organizationel in living the iPrice values and facilitate the continuous evolution of our practices on the basis of 5 key principles simplicity (over complexity), transparency (to build trust), lean experimentation (over analysis paralysis), alignment (to enable autonomy to make decisions) and coaching (for professional development).

Provide clarity and alignment on the product strategy as outlined by the Product Owners. Hire the right people into the product team, promote continuous learning and facilitate great product discussions within the team, with stakeholders, users and top management. In this role, you can take major influence as to how our product strategy is implemented.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Inspire, train and lead the product managers. Make everyone a superstar of their own story.

Coach each product manager for development so they become a better version of themselves.

Promote lean management, lean experimentation, ruthless backlog prioritization and continuous value delivery and show hands-on how a better job can look like.

Create “space” for collective creativity so that product ideas are discussed and debated and the best ideas win.

Evolve the product strategy together with the Product Owner team, the Technology group and the top management.

Use data (we have a lot!) to create new insights into the shopping behaviour of our users; nudge the insights to the product team for better decision making.

Track key product metrics and use the data in Sprint Retrospective meetings to surface problems.

Able to foresee the Unrealized Value and maximise the Current Value of the product.

Continuously develop a transparent, trusting and psychologically safe environment where people can be genuine and problems can be raised without any fear of blame or judgment, with an emphasis on learning, collaboration and problem solving.


Requirements


Compassionate, respectful and with high empathy towards people.

Vast practical experience in product management practices that enable us to continuously improve the product quality and flow of value delivery.

Deep understanding of the agile principles and the Scrum framework.

A strong believer in principles and empirically evolving practices over (top-down) best practices.

Boundless energy and passion to bring the best out of people.

Insanely passionate about agile product development, lean management and lean experimentation.

Clear preference for high behavioural flexibility and relentlessly questioning the status quo.

Excellent English communication skills.

Curious and data-informed with a relentless attention to details.

Minimum of 3 years of product owner/product manager experience in a company known for its best-in-class products.

A continuous learner with a steep growth curve.

Entrepreneurial spirit and excelling in a start-up environment.
