Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and service goals for the largest and most complex accounts in the organization. Involved in pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and manage all Prime Vendor implementation.
Develop leads working through designated sales management and sales groups.
Develop and implement sales programs and direct the sales force. Train new Education & Research employees/corporate sales.
Oversee and manage all corporate sales contracting, RFP development and presentation. Coordinate presentations materials related to an RFP response.
Manage relationships with major healthcare systems.
Develop and implement reports and provide information to sales, dedicated service managers, etc.Conduct business reviews, Medline conversions and analysis. Attend product fairs.
Access consignment program management.
Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 4 years of sales management experience.
Intermediate skill level with consultative reporting.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Willing to travel up to 30% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
