About the Presenter

Michele Rankin is the Director, Experienced Professionals, at Columbia Business School who advises EMBA students and alumni on leadership development and career transitions. She has a combination of corporate and start-up experience. Michele was a Vice President at American Express where she worked for 16 years in both London and New York in a variety of roles in marketing and operations, culminating in her role as Vice President Customer Experience. Most recently she was a Vice President with the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee where she recruited, trained and deployed a volunteer program spanning 8 days and 8,000 people for Super Bowl XLVIII. 

Jane Charlton is the Head of Leadership Programmes and Alumni Careers, within the Career Centre at London Business School. She has worked in Higher Education for over twenty years, on professional development initiatives, degree programme delivery and alumni engagement.  She works with individuals to develop career skills so that they can take ownership of their career development with confidence. She is a coach and certified practitioner by the British Psychological Society and is also a qualified psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Existential Psychotherapy.
