How to Customize Your Resume to Demonstrate Your Value to Employers

About the class

In today’s world of one-click online applications, the notion of customizing one’s resume for each submission seems to run counter to general practice.

This said, a successful job search process is best measured by the quality of your applications, rather than the quantity. Ultimately, a job posting is advertising a specific problem that a company is looking for help to solve, and they want to know if you are the right person to do so. It’s your job to demonstrate that your experience is the right fit for their needs and that you can help them resolve their challenges. If you wouldn’t respond to RFPs from different companies with the exact same proposal, why would you send in the exact same resume across employers?

In this class, we will teach you how to effectively customize your resume and cover letter to demonstrate your value and ability to respond to an employer’s needs.
