Manager to Director: A 360-degree View on How to Advance

About the class

Advancing from manager to director is one of the most difficult transitions to achieve in a professional career. How do you demonstrate your readiness, effectively brand & position yourself, and get the senior backing necessary for the jump? From a corporate perspective, what processes or programs should be in place to identify and groom talent to support their ascendence?

In this webinar, we have assembled a expert panel featuring Dana Gaughan (Chief Talent Acquisition Officer at Health Advances), Elena Kawkani (SVP, Group Account Supervisor at Harrison and Star) and Renita Kalhorn (Executive, Leadership and Performance Coach at TheFlowFactor.com) to present a 360-degree view of what it takes to make the step up from manager to director and what organizations can do to support this critical career inflection point. The panel will discuss:

  • How organizations can better identify, groom, and support high potentials
  • Key criteria candidates must have and/or develop
  • How candidates should brand and position themselves for recognition
  • Effective networking strategies to identify and cultivate mentors, sponsors, and champions

Please join us and we hope you will walk away with a clearer picture of what you can do to strategically and practically support your ambitions to cross the threshold from day-to-day managerial execution to the higher level directorial vision.
