About the Presenter

Dr. Brian Connelly is Professor and Eminent Scholar at Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business. Connelly's research explores how corporate governance structures, such as shareholders and boards, affect competition and strategic outcomes. Dr. Connelly is currently Editor of the Journal of Management and former Associate Editor at the Academy of Management Journal. He has also published in journals such as the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Global Strategy Journal, Strategic Organization, and the Journal of Management Studies. His work is often cited in media outlets, such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. In recent years, he has won awards for research, teaching, and service.
