About the Presenter
Stav Fainshmidt
Dr. Stav Fainshmidt is an Associate Professor and the Knight Ridder Eminent Scholar Chair in International Business at the FIU College of Business. His research interests include institutions and governance, organizational capabilities, and methods in organizational research. His work appears in outlets such as Journal of International Business Studies, Strategic Management Journal, and Administrative Science Quarterly. He is the Reviewing Editor of Journal of World Business and a Consulting Editor for Journal of International Business Studies. Prior to joining FIU, Dr. Fainshmidt worked with Deloitte (Isr.) in auditing, consulting, and IPO services.
Edgardo Pappacena
Mr. Pappacena is a CEO of Cani Investments LLC, with over 35 years of global business experience and worked in 50+ countries throughout his career. As a senior partner in PwC and Arthur Andersen, he held various senior executive leadership roles. Edgardo advised multinational companies in North America, Europe, LATAM and Asia, consulting with C-level executives in corporate and business strategy, business model innovation, business and digital transformation, organizational strategy, change management, and mergers & acquisitions. He is an Adjunct Professor of Strategy & International Business at FIU’s Chapman Graduate School of Business.
